The Struggle by Wanda Brunstetter

MY THOUGHTS:I love Wanda Brunstetter. The Amish has long been a group of people that I have loved and enjoyed reading about. The Struggle is a continuation of a series called The Kentucky Brothers, but it can stand alone as well. I enjoyed reading a book from the husband's side of the story. It is a book that I will definitely pass on to others. Can't wait for more from her!

ABOUT THIS BOOK:
When Timothy Fisher, his wife Hannah, and their daughter Mindy leave Pennsylvania to begin a new life in Kentucky, Hannah finds it hard to adjust. Will Christian County ever feel like home? Nothing Timothy does seems to please Hannah. Has the move from Lancaster spelled the beginning of the end? When a tragedy occurs, an inconsolable Hannah blames her husband for their loss. Timothy can barely rise beneath the weight of guilt, his wife’s hostility, and stress of his job. What dramatic second chance will God provide to heal their grief?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
New York Times bestselling author, Wanda E. Brunstetter became fascinated with the Amish way of life when she first visited her husband's Mennonite relatives living in Pennsylvania. Wanda and her husband, Richard, live in Washington State but take every opportunity to visit Amish settlements throughout the States, where they have several Amish friends.
