Christmas at Harrington's by Melody Carlson

There is nothing I love better than reading Christmas books around the holidays. It helps to get me in the mood and to keep my Christmas spirits focuses on the real meaning of Christmas. Christmas at Harrington's is a Christmas offering from one of my favorite authors, Melody Carlson, so I was thrilled to be able to read and review it. Lena is a character that you will be rooting for and the themes of redemption and love will touch your heart and mind. It is one that I will definitely want to read and reread time and time again during the holiday season.

Sometimes the best gift is a second chance
Christmas is approaching, and Lena Markham finds herself penniless, friendless, and nearly hopeless. She is trying to restart her life, but job opportunities are practically nonexistent. When a secondhand red coat unexpectedly lands her a job as Mrs. Santa at a department store, Lena finally thinks her luck is changing. But can she keep her past a secret?

Reading Christmas at Harrington's, a story full of redemption and true holiday spirit, will be your newest Christmas tradition.
